Dialog / lightbox / alert showcase
One overlay.dialog component, three variants, each launched by its own customised trigger.
What's configured here (see config/page_level/showcase-dialog.config.php):
components.dialog.animation = 'zoom'— site/page default entrance for every dialog on this page, unless a usage overrides it.- Each example below only supplies
id,content, and atrigger— the shared chrome (size, animation, dismiss behaviour) comes from config.
Default button trigger
Standard dialog
This is a plain dialog opened by the default button trigger, using the page's default zoom animation.
Alert variant
Discard changes?
This uses role="alertdialog" and the smaller size, with backdrop-click closing disabled so it must be dismissed explicitly.
Lightbox with custom (image) trigger
Manually wired launcher
With trigger.render = false, the dialog renders no launcher at all — any element on the page can open it via data-dialog-open, including a plain content.action with type: 'dialog'.
Manually launched dialog
This dialog has no built-in trigger; the button above targets it directly via data-dialog-open.
